Ingredients

  • 1 1⁄2 cups uncooked white rice
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 4 ounces cans tomato sauce
  • 2 1⁄2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon cumin

Directions

  • Brown rice in oil using a 4 quart sauce pan Add chopped onion, minced garlic and cumin.
  • Add tomato sauce and chicken broth Bring to a boil-- reduce heat to low-- cover and cook for 15 mins.
