"This recipe originally came from Quick Cooking. The time it takes to cook can vary a lot depending upon the heat of the fire, the size of the potato, or how you package it up. When we are in a hurry, I have even cut the potato into chunks and divided it up between four pieces of foil. It is super easy, healthy, and goes well with pork chops or Recipe#267975. When we go camping this is often on our menu. Sometimes I have put the honey on before grilling, and I think that is okay, too."

Updated 7/25/11, I now have made the recipe and the whole family loved the potatoes this way. I also added onion, but the recipe doesn't call for it. To really make it easy, I used "Simply Potatoes" already peeled and sliced potatoes, and used an 8"x8" foil pan; so quick and simple, yet so flavorful."

"I love grilling vegetables, not only because they taste delicious, but I find it quite handy to cook an entire meal outdoors--- and it is nice to avoid heating up the kitchen during the hot summer months. This is a super quick side, no time spent peeling, slicing, or dicing. Just halve your squash, mix up your sauce, and get right down to the grilling business. This recipe (adapted from fooddownunder.com) does not call for any salt, but I really felt it needed some, so I gave the squash a generous sprinkling of kosher salt after it came off the grill. Unless you are watching your sodium intake, I think the flavor definitely benefits from a good dose of salt."
